Rychvald Castle ruins- 2,5km

As the predecessor of the castle in near by Lysice, Rychvald Castle played the role of the seat of the Lysice branch of the lords of "Kunštát" in the 14th century. For unknown reasons (perhaps due to disputes between the Lysica branch of the "Kunštát" and Margrave "Jan Jindřich") in 1375, the castle was captured and demolished by the people of Brno. Soon after, however, it was restored and from 1398 it belonged to the Foxes. In 1437, Hynek of Ronov and Mitrova gave it to his wife, which is also the last mention that the castle existed.

It disappeared under unknown circumstances, perhaps in the first half of the 15th century. Its founders, gentlemen from "Kunštát", were already sitting in the fortress in Lysice at that time.
