Historická lékárna v Nemocnici Letovice - 14km

The unique baroque historical pharmacy built in 1784 is located in Letovice on the ground floor of the main building of the Letovice Hospital, to the left of the main entrance to the premises. In the beautifully restored pharmacy, it is possible to admire figural ceiling and wall paintings depicting the healing of the sick. Also worth noting is the richly ornamented built-in pharmacy furniture surrounding all the walls of the room. Apothecary jars and drawers with Latin medicine inscriptions contribute to the exceptional spirit of the place, which has served its purpose for 150 years. The pharmacy can be visited with a guide from June to September. The tour starts in front of the building's main entrance and lasts less than 30 minutes. In good weather, the tour includes a walk through the revitalized monastery garden, where you can see the sandstone sculptures that were created as part of the international sculpture symposium in 2006 and are an example of sculptural art at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries.
